Facilities and Equipment
St George's is a fully accessible hydrotherapy pool with a spa facility.
The pool measures 7.35m x 4.25m (24ft x 14ft) and is 0.80m to 1.20m (2ft 7" to 4ft) deep.
The water is heated to a warm 34°C - 36°C (93°F - 97°F).
The pool has easy to manage steps with a double handrail and a hoist with both chair and sling attachments with a full set of slings.
We have a wide range of flotation aids and exercise equipment.
Exercise sheets are available on request, as are sessions with our physiotherapist, though you will need to book.
Reception Area: Our small reception area is wheelchair accessible; there are drinks available, so you can hydrate after your session in the pool. The Friends and User Group upkeep shelves of donated books to browse or purchase to help raise funds and we have a changing supply of activities, especially for our younger users.
Changing Rooms: We also have hoisting facilities in the changing areas. The staff are trained to assist with this if needed. A large hydraulic shower trolley is available as well as baby changing facilities. There are interchangeable male and female changing rooms with grab rails and seating. The showers have level access. A perching shower stool is available on request.

Each changing area has a disabled toilet and hand basins.
Small dressing aids such as sock aids are available, please ask one of our staff if you require any assistance. Walking frames are available as crutches should not be used poolside.
Hair dryers are also provided.
Valuables: If required, valuables can be stored in lockers in the first aid room. Please ask a member of staff..
Parking: We have a level car park that has a tarmac surface and a disabled parking space for Blue Badge holders. Please be aware the users of the car park do so at their own risk. The management will not accept any liability for any accidents, damage or loss occurred.
