Today (11.07.22) we are incredibly sad to announce that Peterborough City Council's cabinet decided to permanently close St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool.
We are so sorry for the distress and concern this will undoubtedly cause our users and their loved-ones. We did our very best and will continue to do so.
You will be able to find updates about the current hydrotherapy situation in Peterborough on our Latest News pages.
Update: 3rd October 2023
We are delighted to share that the staff at Lime Academy will be offering community sessions in their hydrotherapy pool on Thursdays (term time only) from 12th October.

Welcome to our pool
St George’s is a fully accessible community hydrotherapy pool with a spa facility.
The warm supportive waters of our hydrotherapy pool can benefit children and adults with a wide range of disabilities or long-term health conditions. It can also assist rehabilitation from surgery or an injury. In addition, St George’s offers valuable relaxation and leisure time for those with learning and physical disabilities.
Our friendly community pool is open to and welcomes anyone in Peterborough and the surrounding area, including family members and carers.
Since opening in March 2011, St George's has helped over 4,500 local people by providing pain relief, health improvements and freedom from isolation.
Peterborough Limited, which manages the pool, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Peterborough City Council.
